Here’s a link to my CV.

Bio: Trained in the preclinical neuroscience of addiction, as a PhD student I investigated the neuroplasticity of cocaine and meth craving and was later awarded funds by UCLA toward reversing cocaine-related plasticity with 25.0 mg psilocybin in human subjects. As a postdoc at UChicago with Harriet de Wit, I began work in clinical psychedelic neuroscience with EEG and fMRI across trials involving 0.13 mg and 0.26 mg LSD, 100 mg MDMA, and 7.5 and 15 mg THC—the latter study I designed to compare subjective effects, as well as the brain and behavior, in adolescents vs. adults. Currently at UCLA, I work as a scientist in the Monti Lab, as a course instructor in the Department of Psychology and Semel Institute for Neuroscience, and as a director of the Friends of Semel Institute’s Teen Advisory Council. Outside of UCLA, I direct the Burroughs Wellcome Fund’s As1 Next Generation Advisory Council and in 2020, founded Psynautics to address limitations in consciousness research in laboratory settings.
